Microsoft has announced new features coming to its Paint app. The new features are currently available for Microsoft Insiders and will likely be available to all users soon.

But the old Paint app's renaissance is coming at the expense of Paint 3D, which Microsoft says is formally being deprecated and removed from the Microsoft Store on November 4.

Microsoft is forging ahead with adding AI into, well, everything it can right now, and the latest recipient in this respect is the Paint app in Windows 11 preview builds.
