Brandin Cooks has been released by the New Orleans Saints, according to multiple reports. It was a mutual parting for the well-traveled receiver, who was granted his release on Nov. 19. Cooks now heads to waivers and, if he clears, will be able to sign with any team.

Brown joined the Patriots’ staff in January after he quickly rose up the coaching ranks with the Chicago Bears. Brown was named the interim coach for Chicago’s final five games in 2024 after the team fired Matt Eberflus. The Bears went 1-4 during that stretch.
