The Las Vegas Raiders, like a few other teams around the NFL, are in desperate need of a quarterback to get their offense back on track. The 2024 season ended up being a disaster for the Raiders, who struggled to move the football with Gardner Minshew or Aidan O’Connell.

Matthew Stafford agreed to a one-year deal to return to the Los Angeles Rams. The decision has a cascading effect on the rest of the quarterback market.

Stafford was scheduled to make $26 million in 2025 on a four-year, $160 million contract that was set to expire after the 2026 season. The Giants, the Post confirmed, did come up to between $90-100 million in guaranteed money on a two-year deal for Stafford. The Raiders were also there.
