Russia said dozens of drones were launched at Moscow on Tuesday in what it said were “enemy” attacks, using its preferred euphemism for Ukraine, hours ahead of critical talks between US and Ukrainian officials.

Ukraine launched a major drone attack on Moscow on Tuesday morning ahead of peace talks with the United States, where the country is set to propose a partial ceasefire with Russia. Flights were suspended at two of Moscow’s airports overnight, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky, as at least 60 Ukrainian drones were shot down.
