Vice President JD Vance said Republicans must focus on making life affordable for Americans after GOP losses in Virginia and New Jersey gubernatorial races.

JD Vance was recently ridiculed by all sides of the political spectrum after sharing a typo-filled to-do list for Republicans on how to recover from their humiliating defeat. “I think it’s idiotic to overreact to a couple of elections in blue states‚” Vance wrote on X.

In his first Truth Social post commenting on the election results, Trump suggested that the reasons why Democrats won is because he was not on the ballot and because of the government shutdown. Trump has repeatedly blamed Democrats for the shutdown despite Republicans controlling both chambers of Congress and the White House.

JD Vance's dream of possibly becoming president in 2028 took a huge hit on Election Night, as he saw his party fumble.

Among young male voters, 38 percent would vote for the California governor in 2028 compared to 33 percent for the vice president.
