The demonstrators in Columbus were not alone. Protesters totaling in the thousands came out nationwide in Cleveland, Cincinnati, Washington, D.C., Denver and other cities as part of the 50501 movement,

On Monday, thousands of protesters across the country hit the streets to tell Donald Trump and Elon Musk “No kings on Presidents’ Day” in response to the barrage of alarming actions—from legally questionable executive orders to mass firings —taken by the administration since the inauguration.

The rally in Irvine was one of many similar demonstrations across the country dubbed “No Kings on Presidents Day.”
