Musk's Grok AI just dropped a new Companion modes, featuring a flirty anime chatbot called Ani, and it has got the internet buzzing.
Elon Musk’s AI tool Grok, which was built to reduce the spread of misinformation on the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, is pointing the finger squarely at its own creator, and the administration he once worked for, for the loss of life during this week’s terrible flooding in Texas.
On July 14, Musk announced a major update to X’s SuperGrok AI, introducing a lineup of virtual companions including Ani, a cutesy anime girl, Rudy the panda, and a brutally unfiltered variant called Bad Rudy. A fourth companion, “Chad,” a male anime-style character, is also listed as “coming soon.”
The Department of Defense has announced contracts with four leading artificial intelligence companies, including Elon Musk's xAI, a week after its Grok chatbot allegedly disseminated racist rhetoric online.
