Storm Ashley has caused travel disruption and flooding across the UK as high winds and rain battered parts of the country. Dozens of flights have been cancelled at Belfast City Airport and Dublin Airport due to 80mph winds, while several flights to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen have also been called off.

A yellow rain warning is in place across Devon and Cornwall due to Storm Ashley. The Met Office warning, currently in place until midday, includes strong winds and heavy rain, with Dartmoor forecast to be among the worst affected areas It said bus and train services will likely be impacted,

A yellow alert for strong winds is in place from 12am to 9am on Monday. The Met Office warns that strong winds from Storm Ashley may bring further impacts across the north and east of Scotland and northeast England before it moves away.
