Retired Providence, Rhode Island, Municipal Court Judge Frank Caprio, who found online fame as a caring jurist and host of ”Caught in Providence″ died Tuesday.

Caprio died following a “long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer," a post on his Facebook page said Wednesday.

Judge Frank Caprio passed away on Wednesday after a long battle with pancreatic cancer, his family announced. The retired municipal judge was 88. He was the star of the hit television programme ‘Caught in Providence’.
