The singer-songwriter, who trained to be a K-pop idol before transitioning to songwriting, is finally getting her much-deserved moment in the spotlight thanks to the success of the Netflix animated film and its soundtrack.

"Golden," from Netflix global smash KPop Demon Hunters, has landed a third week at No. 1 on the U.K.'s Official Singles Chart dated Aug. 22. Credited to the film's animated girl group HUNTR/X, the track is performed by EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami, and has extended its run as the longest-running K-pop chart-topper in U.K. chart history.

"KPop Demon Hunters," the runaway Netflix hit of the summer, is making the rare jump from streaming to theaters. The film follows three animated K-pop stars as they perform synthy earworms and hide their true demon-slayer identities from fans,
