Seven HISD students were arrested facing a rise in school threats, with FBI involvement due to numerous hoax reports.

It's a growing trend, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation Houston field division has reported at least 30 school shooting threats in August, more than any in the past three months.

A Willis ISD student has been arrested and charged for making a shooting threat while on campus which was overheard by another student and school official.
