Luka Doncic made his return to Dallas. He finished the emotional night with 45 points, eight rebounds, six assists and four steals while shooting 16/28 from the field and 7/10 from the three-point range in 38 minutes of playing time.

It's understandable for Doncic to take that matchup personally, as the Mavericks essentially sent their former franchise player the message that they believe Davis is a better fit
