July 10 (UPI) -- Breast cancer survivor Olivia Munn says her mother Kim is battling the same disease. "My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer," the Newsroom and Your Friends and Neighbors actress, 45, wrote on Instagram Wednesday.

After Olivia Munn was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023, she urged her mom and sister to take a risk assessment test.

Munn urged others to take the free, online risk assessment that she credits with saving her and her mother's lives.
