Pistons: Cade Cunningham was a late scratch with a sprained left sacroiliac joint. Starters Tobias Harris, Tim Hardaway, Jr. and Jalen Duren combined for eight points on 3-for-16 shooting. Combined, they missed all seven of their 3-point attempts.

As Pacers guard T.J. McConnell pursued Cunningham from behind, Stewart rolled to the basket. As prescribed, Obi Toppin, Indiana’s forward covering the left corner, dropped into the paint to cover Stewart. Once again, that left Ausar Thompson all alone in the corner.
