Box Truck Crashes Into RV Filling with 28 Snakes, Including a Venomous Viper
Just after midnight on Nov. 26, a large box truck rear-ended the RV, which was heading to Pennsylvania from South Carolina. The crash occurred near N. Springfield School Road north of Kenly, in Wilson County, N.C. Inside were five people, 28 snakes, two tortoises, five Bearded Dragons, two dogs and a cat.

At least one of the snakes was a small, highly venomous viper, which became loose in the RV during the crash. The owner was able to catch the snake prior to EMS workers arriving.

Just past midnight, an RV heading from South Carolina to Pennsylvania on Interstate 95 in Wilson County was rear-ended by a large box truck – leaving sheets of plywood scattered across both northbound lanes. Inside the RV were 5 people, 28 snakes, 2 tortoises, 5 Bearded Dragons, 2 dogs and 1 cat.
