The drive included a turkey, Thanksgiving sides, a pie, shelf-stable food, and fresh produce for 325 families. Staff and volunteers distributed 300 bags of groceries donated by the YMCA and Greater Boston Food Bank, 325 turkeys donated by the City of Boston, 325 boxes containing three sides and a pie, along with 350 winter coats.

The Connecticut Foodshare is sending off its last turkey of their “Thanksgiving for all” campaign. The organization reached its goal of distributing 50,000 Thanksgiving meals to families in need across the state.

Nourish Food Bank distributed nearly 500 Thanksgiving meals to clients between the Murfreesboro, Smyrna and the Nashville/Glencliff locations, the week before Thanksgiving. Each location distributed about 166 meals.
