Hurricane season ends Nov 30th, but tropical activity remains possible through the end of the season. Tropical Storm Sara will track through the western Caribbean before making landfall in Belize. As it lingers over the Yucatan peninsula this weekend,

Tropical Storm Sara formed this afternoon and threatens to bring "life-threatening and potentially catastrophic flash flooding and mudslides" to Honduras throughout the weekend, according to the latest update from the National Hurricane Center. A turn toward Florida is still possible, forecasters said.

Sara is no longer expected to move into the Gulf of Mexico. As of 6:15 a.m. CST Friday, the center of Tropical Storm Sara was located about 40 miles southeast of Isla Guanaja, Honduras, and was moving to the west at 9 mph.
