Terry McLaurin seeks $33 million per year from Commanders to match DK Metcalf's price, per report
Metcalf signed a five-year, $150 million deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers this spring after acquiring him in a trade with the Seattle Seahawks, making him one of the NFL's highest-paid receivers. McLaurin comes off a career-best 13 touchdowns last fall as Washington's leading playmaker on offense.
McLaurin can certainly make the case that he deserves money similar to Metcalf. He has been the Commanders’ leading receiver every season since he entered the league. Last season, he was second in the league in receiving touchdowns behind Ja'Marr Chase.
McLaurin, 29, has missed the entirety of training camp because of his contract stalemate with the team, and a deal has not yet been reached.
