These cars represent ideas for the future of all of BMW's sedan, crossover, and M performance businesses, but they are also representative of specific future products around the size of the current 3-Series and X3.

Group design director Adrian van Hooydonk confirmed the Neue Klasse series will start with the iX3 launch this year, before this one follows in 2026. They’ll have those fancy Gen6 batteries, a radical new electronic architecture, and an interior space that wouldn’t look out of place in a sci-fi movie.

Following the iX3 will be more than 40 models of all drivetrain variants, including a sedan as the second Neue Klasse vehicle.
