One lucky Powerball player in Philadelphia is waking up $2 million richer after buying a winning ticket at the ShopRite on Fox Street in East Falls.
Pennsylvania Lottery officials said a $3 million winning ticket was sold at Shop 'n Save on William Flinn Highway (Route 8) in Richland Township. The store will get a $10,000 bonus for selling the lucky ticket in the $3,000,000 Golden Ticket game, which costs $30 to play.
The Pennsylvania Senate approved a bill for lottery winner anonymity. It will now move to the state House for consideration.
