Carlos Alcaraz found time to play golf with Andy Murray, even though it was just days before he was due to defend his Wimbledon title.

Alcaraz’s unseeded opponent was ranked 125th in the world and was competing in the Wimbledon third round for the fourth time, having never gone beyond. The Spaniard ensured the wait continues for the 35-year-old, who was a 2018 Australian Open doubles semi-finalist.

Alcaraz is looking to become just the fifth man in the Open Era to lift three consecutive Wimbledon trophies and has now won his last 17 matches at SW19
