The Boston Red Sox's reason for scratching Rafael Devers from their FanFest lineup is not what fans might suspect. According to Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com, Devers had a last-minute scheduling conflict that will prevent him from appearing at this weekend's "Fenway Fest.

After being held in Springfield over the course of a weekend the past few years, this year’s edition will be a single day (9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) at Fenway Park and in the adjoining MGM Music Hall at Fenway.
