Max Verstappen has pole position for the British Grand Prix but the reigning Formula 1 champion will have title rivals Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris close behind in Sunday’s race.

While they usually only show the highlights, Channel 4 will be broadcasting the British Grand Prix live. You can also stream the action live on All4. As ever, Sky Sports F1 and Sky Sports Main Event will also be showing the race live. Both broadcasters’ coverage of today’s race will begin at 1.30pm.

Lewis Hamilton and Lando Norris traded places atop the timing sheets in the first two practice sessions at the Formula 1 British Grand Prix. Will one of those hometown heroes take pole position today, or will another driver step up and go fastest during qualifying at Silverstone?
