BYD's Sealion 7, its most anticipated electric SUV launched, undercutting the market leader Tesla Model Y by thousands.

Shares in Chinese automaker BYD jumped on Tuesday after it unveiled plans to unroll advanced self-driving technology on nearly all its cars, including budget models priced below US$10,000 (RM44,670).

The BYD Sealion 7 has come ashore, priced competitively against a growing throng of Chinese mid-sized electric SUVs.
