EasyJet said on Wednesday that it expects its capacity to increase by 3% in fiscal 2025 after reporting a smaller-than-expected annual operating profit due to disruptions from the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

Budget airline Easyjet reported a 34 per cent rise in pre-tax profit to £610m, in the twelve months to October.

LONDON: British no-frills airline EasyJet on Wednesday reported a 40-percent rise in annual net profit on strong demand for its package holidays. Profit after tax stood at £452 million ($569 million) in the 12 months to the end of September, building on its return to profit last year following losses in the wake of the Covid pandemic.

EasyJet on Wednesday reported annual operating profit below market expectations as disruptions from the ongoing turmoil in the Middle East ate into its bottomline.
