Walmart shrimp recall: FDA reports possible radiation contamination
The Food and Drug Administration is investigating contamination reports in frozen shrimp products sold at Walmart.
According to the FDA, three lots of Great Value brand raw frozen shrimp sold in 13 states may have been exposed to possible radioactive contamination. All three have a best-by date of March 15, 2027.
FDA has advised the public not to consume, sell, or serve dishes containing frozen shrimp produced by PT Bahari Makmur Sejati (BMS Foods), Indonesia.
