Florida State officially announced the hiring of new men's basketball head coach Luke Loucks on March 9. Loucks is coming home to Tallahassee to lead his alma mater while taking over the reins from legendary head coach Leonard Hamilton.

Florida State Seminoles basketball alum Luke Loucks has been hired as the new FSU head coach, replacing Leonard Hamilton.

Luke Loucks is returning to Florida State. Loucks, 34, was officially named the new head men’s basketball coach at the ACC school and has agreed to a five-year deal, according to reports. Loucks played for the Seminoles from 2008-12 and most recently served as an assistant coach with the Sacramento Kings since 2022.
