Republican lieutenant governor candidate John Reid says Gov. Glenn Youngkin called and asked him to drop out of the race over a recent controversy.

John Reid, the Republican nominee for Virginia lieutenant governor, said he is staying in the race despite calls from Gov. Youngkin for him to drop out.
