Once again, Jax dug himself out and then thrived. In September, Jax posted a 2.45 ERA and struck out 15 in 11 innings as the Twins cruised to their third division title in five seasons.

The Minnesota Twins took Griffin Jax in the third round of the 2016 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft. His path to the majors was not conventional, and his development has been consistently evident.

Griffin Jax may pitch for the for the Fort Myers Miracle, but he's a member of two teams. Jax also works for the United States Air Force as a member of its World Class Athlete program.
