A basketball card featuring Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant sold for $12.932 million on Saturday, making it the most expensive ever sports card, according to the auction house which handled its sale.

A rare Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant card sold at $12.9 million. The cards broke the record for the most ever paid for a sports card.

Jordan led the NBA in scoring (29.6) that year, and it was midway through the Chicago Bulls' second three-peat after he came out of retirement in 1995. Chicago beat the Utah Jazz in the 1997 NBA Finals, with Jordan crowned the Finals MVP for the fifth time.
