McShay thinks with all the available options on the board that Downs would be the best fit for L.A.’s current roster and needs, not a quarterback or offensive help.
The Rams just smashed their way to another 10-win season, and now they might add Ohio State star Caleb Downs with the Falcons’ pick.
Make no mistake, Bain is an exciting prospect. Both Trey Hendrickson and Joseph Ossai are on the way to free agency. Myles Murphy has shown a few flashes, but the team has gotten nothing from last year’s first-rounder, Shemar Stewart. Bain makes sense.
