The Powerball lottery jackpot — the biggest of the year — is swelling after nobody won in Monday night's drawing. The jackpot is now $643 million, with the next drawing set for Wednesday night. Although no one took home the full prize, two Powerball players won $1 million each, according to Powerball.

More than 755,000 other Powerball tickets sold in the United States also won prizes ranging from $4 to $1 million, the lottery said.

The Powerball jackpot has grown to $643 million -- with a cash payout of $290.6 million -- after no one won Monday night's drawing. A total that was already the highest of the year has now crept higher. The next drawing will take place Wednesday night.
