His Trojans won four Rose Bowls during his two stints at Southern California and shared one national championship. He took the Rams to two conference championships.

John Robinson, the veteran football coach who enjoyed many years of success at the University of Southern California and with the Los Angeles Rams, has died. He was 89. The Rams confirmed Robinson’s death on Monday.
