A video has surfaced showing Rute Cardoso, the grieving wife of late footballer Diogo Jota, in tears as she left a funeral home with her husband's remains.

Just 11 days before Diogo Jota died in a fiery wreck in Spain, Rute Cardoso was standing at an altar with him, sharing vows. However, his new wife now must do the unthinkable and bury her husband and the father of her three kids.

P remier League soccer star Diogo Jota has been killed in a car crash in Spain, the Spanish civil guard confirmed to The Associated Press on Thursday, just under two weeks after his wedding to wife Rute Cardoso. Jota's brother, Andre Silva, was also killed in the single-vehicle accident after their car left the road.
