Jul 9, 2019 · The last ship date for some models of the Exadata Database Machine appears to have changed recently, potentially impacting the end-of-life date for Exadata hardware. For example, in April 2019, the document (HW_LSP_chart_Apr_2019_LSD.pdf) listed the last ship date for Exadata Database Machine X5-2 as Feb 2017.

Mar 4, 2013 · We are in the process of migrating a number of databases to Exadata. Is there a way non-Exadata administrators can query v$/x$ tables to tell whether the database is running on Exadata database or not? I understand that the database version is 11.2.0.x and nothing much has changed as far as the core Oracle database binaries.

Sep 26, 2022 · IBM Guardium S-TAP agent needs to be installed on Oracle Exadata. The Guardium S-TAP is a lightweight software agent installed on database servers. For data activity monitoring, the S-TAP monitors activity between the client and the database and forwards that information to the Guardium collector.

Jan 21, 2019 · Hello, After replacing the damaged disk on Exadata Storage Server we got an alert as below: "2019-01-16T19:24:45+04:00 Oracle Exadata Storage Server failed to auto-create cell disk and grid disks on the newly inserted physical disk.
