All of a sudden Sims 4 will not launch from the EA app. Every time I click play or double click the desktop shortcut it will take a few moments of "thinking" and then the EA app will just reappear. I have tried pretty much every fix that I have seen on here and I cannot seem to fix it. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both EA and the game itself.

Don't open anything other than Sims 4 and the EA App while testing, not even a browser window. If you still can't play in the clean boot, repeat the test, except with your computer offline. You can sign into the EA App and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi and/or disconnect the ethernet cable before pressing Play.

Its just as the top says, My sims 4 will not launch at all no matter how many times ive verified the files, or re installed it, its not issue with my graphics card or storage as I have checked that before hand, and removing my mods does nothing to help.

I have tried redownloading Sims 4 as well as EA tried the 50/50 method with ym mods to see if any were corrupted repaired the sims 20 billion times re logged in and out as well as checking file position etc. I have attached my DxDiag below if anyone could please help!!

Check for other applications that may be limiting EA app or Game performance, An EA app recovery (Clear Cache), Manually check for EA app updates by running the "EA app Updater" program, Click “Start” (the Windows button) and type the word “EA app Updater” (without the quotes) in the Start search field & open it.

I have several add ons for sims 3 and 4 that I purchased when origins was still live. This was back in 2020 or before. I recently got a new laptop and have been dying to play. But now I am finding that Origins is no longer an active platform. So I used the email that my Origin/EA purchases confirmations were in to sign into the new EA app.
