Dec 27, 2022 · Not enough love for the Define 7 Mini/Nano either. I was gonnd go with the Mini myself but decided on something even smaller, probably the Jonsbo D31. Also ram clearance concerns with top mount AIO, and the fact that I just bought a GPU that's a little to long.
How hard is it to cool the Fractal Define 7 Compact?
Dec 8, 2020 · Fractal really needs to release an updated Meshify C or, preferably, a Meshify front panel for the 7 Compact, because it is otherwise nearly perfect. I don't expect them to do either properly since it seems no case manufacturer is willing to put out a perfect compact midtower case. I'm running a 3080 FTW3 and 3900x on a NH-U14S in push-pull.

Nov 23, 2022 · In the 7 compact case it was fine with the 2 pcie cables for the 3070. But for the 4090 i decided to jump up to corsair hx1500i with the 600 watt pcie cable to have neater cable management with 2 pcie -> pci 5 600w for the new card. The angle for the cables in the define 7 compact coupled the msi 4090 gqming x trio talked about above was fine.

Hey Guys, I have the Define 7 Compact, and I love the case asthecis and build quaility, however I think the solid front might be too limiting for airflow. I have 4x QL140mm fans. 3x as intake 1 exhaust, and 1x QL120 exhaust. Obvious choice would be to the Meshify S2 Compact.

Jul 26, 2023 · Build Complete. Fractal Design Define 7 Compact case with custom watercooling from EK, Alphacool, Aquacomputer. Was pretty tricky figure out the routing in such a tight space! The RGB glow at night from hidden strips behind my Alphacool waterblock, on the roof, and from the EK Ryzen block. Acrylic tubing is super clear and reflective at night!
