Jan 13, 2017 · Been using Goo Gone for a few years now. I think you may have experienced that due to products like Fix a Flat and, more importantly, Bug B Gon. I wasn't aware of Goo Gone until 2002 when I started repairing fitness equipment. We used it to remove glue from decals. Also sometimes used Goof Off, a similar product.

Jan 13, 2021 · Wipe it up with a dry wash cloth, then finish the clean up with a damp wash cloth. try acetone and paper towels, you've got a non-polar spill so you can't use water (a polar solvent) to clean it up. Goo-Gone is comprised mostly of petroleum distillates. The other post, encouraging use of a nonpolar solution, is absolutely spot on.

Nov 5, 2021 · W/s has a good rate of evaporation, and lasts as long as needed for wiping it up, and affects plastics slowly. Alcohol might work but isn't as strong. Oil soluble glues also melt in heat, allowing to peel the paper off in one piece. For PET don't use more than about 65°C. Water soluble glues aren't helped by any of this, and need to be soaked ...
