Three choppers enjoy the smell of burning oil from the pipes of the 1911 Indian 61-inch racer. Board track racers were the first custom choppers: Any unnecessary parts were removed, scrapped, and melted down to make machinery, automobiles, skyscrapers, armor, and artillery.
