I modded my @johnmayer signature Strat with a set of @emgpickups Gilmour spec loaded pick guard, and it’s now become my favorite Strat. I’ve never played EMG’s before but those pickups paired with the active preamp and boost circuits that David Gilmour had in the red “Pulse Era” Strat really put this guitar over the top for me. I’m calling this the “Gilmourized” Strat and I can’t stop playing it. I’ll be back out on the road next year (more info soon) and this guitar will probably be with me mos
