🌿Some leaves are just amazing to print with... I slowed down to reveal the second print on this one as I wanted to really hold that moment of delight! I hope this slow gentle 50 seconds or so gives you a little time to just breath! I find this whole process can be very mindful, from the walking in nature around my garden to collect the plants, noticing the seasonal changes, researching a little more about the plants, finding out their historical or medicinal uses, folklore and mythology around

I have been feeling that sense of urgency to print with all the leaves before they fall... These geranium leaves however do stay evergreen in my garden, in a mild year anyway, but I just love the prints they make, they are reliable and a great place to start with botanical monoprinting. I mostly print out of a sense of wishing to record the amazing happenings in nature and a curiosity because you cant always guess how something will print.
