The entrance for Delta One at LAX is in Terminal 3 at Arrivals, not Departures. After that, you walk straight through a private TSA security line. The lounge itself is bright, airy, and filled with natural light. It was definitely busy, but it never felt crowded. There were plenty of empty seats. One of my favorite features?
