The NX Bridge, popularly known as Annie's Bridge, over the Passaic River between Newark and East Newark New Jersey. The Strauss Heel Trunnion Bascule Bridge was built in 1922 for the Newark Branch of the Erie Railroad. It is abandoned and in the up position. The name comes from the 1982 movie "Annie" where the orphan protagonist climbs the bridge at the end. Seen from the new East Newark Riverfront Park. | Metrotrails
