Unfinished Quilt Tops - Search Videos

A few weeks ago we received this beautiful handsewn, unfinished patchwork top made in the 1940s. The shapes were made by using a copper template, scraps of card and old clothes to make it. It was never quite finished and her daughter continued it years later, adding fabric from the1960s and 1970s. Its so beautifully made and represents many nights of sewing, patience and seeing something grow. Along with the quilt came some hexies cut out of kellogs boxes and plenty of fabric scraps.
