GLENDALE, Calif. – Burbank and Glendale firefighters responded to a strip mall near Broadway and Pacific Avenue just before midnight after reports of heavy fire and smoke. Crews arrived to find flames coming from a taco shop and a jewelry store, with the fire beginning to extend to the second floor. Firefighters quickly knocked down the blaze.
