What does a Committee do at "Stage 2"? This week the Local Government Committee met to discuss Stage 2 of the Housing Bill. So, what's "Stage 2"? Stage 2 is where MSPs and the Government bring in amendments - that's changes to the Bill - to make it better than it already is. In the case of the Housing Bill, the Committee will hear from members and the Government. After that, the Convener - Ariane Burgess - will invite members, to suggest their own proposed amendments (changes) to the Bill. If th
