How to Use the Oven to Loosen Green Luffa Skins: 1. This is for those mature-but-still-green luffas that didn’t brown on the vine! They should be large, filled out, and starting to feel lighter — not young, soft ones. The skin should be firm but not hard & brown yet. • 2. Preheat oven low. Set it to 200°F (93°C) or the lowest “warm” setting your oven allows. • 3. Prep the luffas. Rinse off dirt. Leave whole — cut off the tips. Pat them dry with a towel so they don’t steam too much. • 4. Bake bri
