Now how do you use it? Leaf lard is more “pure” and basically odorless once rendered. This makes it ideal for baking! Use it instead of butter, crisco/shortening, and other processed fats/oil in biscuits, pie crusts, etc. The rest of your lard is good for everyday cooking and frying.
