Wildlife Wednesday! At this time of year, platypus mums have retreated into nursery burrows to hatch their eggs and rear their young. The newly minted juvenile platypuses venture forth into the world later in summer (January and February). This little fellow is Eggbert, from the 2020-2021 breeding season at Jenolan. We've now had several breeding events at Jenolan and will be keeping an eye out for the Class of '26 early in the New Year! 👀🎓 Stay tuned for more platypus paddling adventures! 💦�
