Wild monkeys in Florida? Yep, in the 1930's Rhesus Macaques were released at what is now Silver Springs State Park. Today they still roam and can sometimes be seen when hiking or kayaking. This guy was chomping on some yummies and about 3/4 of the way through this reel, he made an almost mournful sound. No idea why he was separated from his troop but we watched him for about an hour and he was alone. Usually if there's one monkey there's 100. 😆 But not with this guy...he kept making that sound
